National Library Week - April 13 - 19
See what’s happening for teens at the Waterford Township Public Library.
Are you planning on babysitting this summer? Join us here at the library on Saturday, June 4th for a workshop!
The American Red Cross will be here to offer a training session for all babysitters ages 11-15. They will cover skills such as safety, basic child care, facilitating safe play, first aid and critical emergency action skills. The cost is $25 and includes a training manual and a first aid and safety kit. Teens will also need to bring a sack lunch.
The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Please call the Adult Reference Desk at (248) 618-7693 to register!

Interested in learning more about henna design?
Hiral Henna will be here on Tuesday, July 13th at 2:00 pm to talk to teens about henna design. Teens w
ill learn about the history, traditions and the current use of henna. Each participant will also leave with a small henna design done by Hiral. Class size limited to 15 teens, so register now!

Looking for something to do this summer? How about taking part in our Teen Summer Reading program? Stop by the Main or Branch library to pick up a bag of goodies and you're ready to begin!
- The program runs from June 21st to August 9th. This packet contains a registration card, raffle tickets, information about our summer programs and booklists for reading ideas.
