Volunteer at the Library

Occasionally, the library has a need for volunteers to help with a variety of jobs.  If you are interested in volunteering at the library, a Volunteer Information Form must be submitted.  Forms are available at the circulation desk or online.  Volunteers are notified on an as-needed basis.

Anyone working on community service requirements for school or court must complete a form.  Because volunteers are notified on an as-needed basis, we cannot guarantee that all of your required hours will be completed solely at our library by your mandated deadline.

Volunteer work may include any of the following:

Delivery to Homebound patrons (Waterford) Assistance at Children's Programs
Craft Preparation ESL Conversation Group host
Light Clerical (e.g., collating, stamping, cutting) Reminder Phone Calls
Serving Refreshments (special programs) Shelf-reading (straightening/maintening shelves)
Friends of the Library Book Sales Friends of the Library Used Book Drop-off Days
